Harald Mosböck has over 30 years of experience in the paint and road marking systems industry and has held positions at both Rembrandtin and Dupont Performance Coatings of Austria. In 2000, Harald joined Manfred Swarovski‘s SWARCO group and held several managing director positions with road marking contracting companies in Austria and Germany. Over the last several years, Harald was also involved in SWARCO’s expansion of its marking service division. In November 2020, Harald became SWARCO’s European vice president of the road marking systems division. His area of responsibility includes the Middle East, Africa and Asia and the Pacific. Harald is currently the vice president of the European Road Federation and chair of the group’s road marking working group. He is is also a member of horizontal road signs and road interaction and ADAS automated vehicle in the technical committee working groups of the European committee for standardization. Harald holds a master’s degree in traffic telematics from Austrian Donau-Universität Krems and he also graduated with an export trade degree from Vienna’s University of Economics.

TMMA Chairman Kevin Goforth is the vice president of North American highway safety at Potters Industries. In his current role, Kevin oversees all commercial responsibility of the company’s U.S. and Canadian territories, which includes research and development, technical services, sales, marketing and developing innovative products to advance pavement markings that greatly improve roadway safety for all road users.

Kevin has been involved in the roadway safety industry since 1988 and is an active member of the American Road and Transportation Builders Association as well as the American Traffic Safety Services Association. For over 10 years, he served on ATSSA’s pavement marking committee and was also actively involved with ATSSA’s Texas Chapter. He also served on the ATSSA Foundation’s board of directors and for nearly 15 years served on the pavement marking committee of the National Committee for Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Kevin continues to serve on a variety of transportation and safety councils and committees.

Kevin, whose been with Potters Industries for the last 28 years, officially became TMMA’s chair in February 2023. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Texas Tech University and resides in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, just northwest of Philadelphia.

Michael has been actively involved in the roadway safety industry for over 30 years and he currently serves as Crown USA’s growth leader. While previously working for Potters Industries between 2007 and 2017, Michael actively pursued the advancement of high performance pavement marking products and high-quality glass beads both across the country and abroad. He did so by regularly engaging academic, regulatory and legislative contacts and resources to accelerate and expand his company’s global market reach into Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean, Asia and Central America.

Michael is a member of the International Association for Six Sigma whose methodologies and tools are widely adopted by many industries including manufacturing, healthcare, finance, transportation and retail. Within Six Sigma, Mike holds a green belt training level certificate. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and economics from Westminster College in Fulton, Mo., where Winston Churchill delivered his famous Iron Curtain Speech on March 5, 1946. Michael enjoys running as well as traveling with his family. He and his wife Holley have six children and reside in St. Louis, Mo.

Carly Haller has been in the materials science industry for 12 years. As the Global Segment Leader of Dow’s Pavement Markings business for the past four years, Carly has demonstrated leadership and strategic vision, advocating for growth and innovation within the sector.

Carly manages the cross-functional collaboration of her segment’s product development, market expansion, and customer engagement. Carly is passionate about making roads safer for motorists and road workers alike, all the while prioritizing markings that offer a strong return on investment.

Eric has worked to develop and promote safer pavement markings for a dozen years, both through invention of numerous new technologies and through advocacy and promotion of safety spending and adoption of new technologies. He has been an active member, officer and/or Board member of several organizations involved with roadway safety over his career including ATSSA, ASTM, TRB and AASHTO as well as TMMA. He currently works as Director of Industry Relations for PPG Traffic Solutions where one of his central responsibilities is to advocate for improved roadway safety. Prior to joining PPG in 2024 he worked for Dow (heritage Rohm and Haas) in multiple industries, with a special focus on pavement markings. Eric received his BA and PhD in Chemistry from Harvard and Northwestern respectively and currently resides in the Philadelphia suburbs with his wife and children. He enjoys coaching kid sports in various local rec leagues in his free time.

Passionate about roadway safety, he serves on ATSSA’s High Friction Surface Council, a leading advocate to bring safety programs to underserved communities both in the U.S. and overseas. Richard is a long time member of various national transportation associations and he tirelessly campaigns for additional safety funding by government agencies.

Rob has 25 years of public policy, legislative, and association experience in the transportation and roadway safety industry and is a recognized expert in roadway safety infrastructure policy. Rob served as chair of the ATSSA Pavement Marking Committee and High Friction Surfacing Council and currently serves on numerous transportation technical and advisory committees including the NCUTCD Markings Technical Committee and CAV Council, SAE’s ORAD Infrastructure Needs task force, and as a GWTA board member.

Rob spent the last decade working diligently to bridge the gap between the automotive and roadway infrastructure industries in support of driving automation and assistance technologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Brigham Young University as well as a master’s degree in transportation policy, operations, and logistics from George Mason University. He and his wife Tabitha reside in Mount Olive, N.C.

Paul Carlson has been involved in highway safety, operations, maintenance, and traffic control for more than 30 years. Paul spent the majority of his career working at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute. Since 2018, Dr. Carlson has been working in the highway industry focused on highway safety and adapting highway infrastructure to support connected and automated vehicle (CAV) deployment. Dr. Carlson works with stakeholders such as highway agencies, the infrastructure industry, and the automotive industry to advance research results, with an emphasis on evolving standards, specifications, and policies to support safe connected and automated vehicle (CAV) deployment while enhancing safety for conventional road users. Paul resides in North Carolina.

Jim is a public affairs consultant who previously served as communications director of the American Traffic Safety Services Association. Jim began his nearly two-decade-long role at ATSSA after completing 23 years of active duty in the U.S. Navy as a public information officer. His recent work over the last several years as a local newspaper reporter was recognized in 2022 with four Virginia Press Association awards. Jim also previously served as the chief media relations officer of Naval Base Norfolk, where he also edited and managed the military’s largest base newspaper. Other assignments include instructor duty at the Defense Information School, managing an Armed Forces Network radio and television detachment in Sasebo, Japan and serving on four Navy surface ships homeported on both U.S. coasts. Jim is also credited with bringing National Work Zone Awareness Week to the national level and creating the National Work Zone Workers Memorial. Jim resides in Virginia with his wife Jill.
