AASHTO Committee On Traffic Engineering

The Committee on Traffic Engineering is composed, essentially, of the State Traffic Engineers from the fifty-two AASHTO member departments. Its charge is to assess the effectiveness of traffic control strategies and devices for the efficient and safe operation of the nation’s highway system.
